How Roadside Issues Lead To Real Opportunities

Let's say you lock your keys in your car like I recently did and have run out of Free Service calls from Automobile Club (Triple A) - what do you do? If you're lucky (or smart) enough to have purchased the MCA benefits through their Total Security Package, you'd be able to call MCA - and get your car unlocked, for FREE.

I tipped my driver when this recently happened to me.

Great way to meet some new people. True story, one time my car would not start and I was stuck in Long Beach. Had I called Triple A I would've had to pay for the tow home; Instead I called up Motor Club of America, who sent out a tow truck - and they took care of the entire bill.

On the ride home, the tow truck driver was really spilling his guts.

He had been going through a tough time. His daughter was missing, and it was a super busy Friday Night. Due to how I was parked it was a real adventure getting my car onto the flat bed. We finally got it on, and on the way home he shared how many other difficult jobs he had already had.

I was just thankful to get a tow home.

It actually took them a real long time to get to me; but it was the tow trucks fault and not the fault of MCA. They did help me with rushing them out to me as soon as possible; and the entire experienced also opened the door for a conversation on other things.

Once again, i was able to discuss Solavei with this Tow Truck Driver.

Everyone has a cell phone right?

Since putting this article together a lot has happened. I've written a few more posts which I'll share a bit later. However I wanted to share a quick testimonial about how MCA has touched my life.

Recently I was meeting up with some friends that I had not seen in quite some time. Excited to meet them I was going to have lunch at the in and out next to where I had parked. I had my windows down and decided that If I was going to eat I should roll those up.

So I went back to my car, put my key in the ignition, rolled up my windows, locked all my doors and returned to eat my Subway Sandwich with my friends who were grabbing in and out. Not that I'm against in and out but... I happened to want a subway on that day.

After enjoying our meals, it was time to go. I offered my friends a ride and we walked to my car.

Naturally, I was able to call MCA and have them send a tow truck to unlock my car; so that I could get back on the road. I was unable to give my friends a ride; They walked back to the hotel where they were staying which was nearby.

Thanks to Motor Club of America, I was able to get home as well.
